Pete spent thirty-three years in wealth management before he started building Spartan. He began as a college intern and grew his own advisory practice over four years of client seminars. At twenty-six he became National Training Officer in Hartford, where he trained more than two thousand advisors in two years. Across eighteen years at Morgan Stanley he managed the branch in Clearwater and the complex in Atlanta, then spent ten years as Regional Director for the Southeast at JP Morgan Securities, where he recruited and onboarded more than a hundred experienced advisors across Florida, Georgia, and Washington, DC. He spent most of his career on the firm’s side of the recruiting table. On Wall Street Magazine named him Top 10 Branch Manager of the Year in 2016 and 2017, the first JP Morgan Securities Regional Director to earn the honor. He founded Spartan in 2020 to sit on the other side, and to work only for the advisor.
